Details:
Culinary neighborhood tour through the Wrangelkiez (Kreuzberg) The tour starts near the Oberbaumbrücke and is adapted based on weekday and season.

More than just tasting bites: This food tour includes a full five-course meal. We visit five carefully selected partner restaurants – real neighborhood spots with character. Each stop features a house specialty – freshly prepared, authentic, and served with heart.

Discover the culinary diversity of Kreuzberg's Wrangelkiez! Once one of West Berlin’s outermost corners – where roads and U-Bahn lines ended at the Berlin Wall – this neighborhood is now full of life, flavor, and surprises: from traditional dishes to creative international street food.

The tour combines food with history: At five culinary stations, you’ll enjoy not only delicious tastings but also engaging stories about the neighborhood’s transformation – from squatter culture to today’s mix of communities, creative spots, and change.

The menu changes with the day and season and may include dishes from Turkish, Vietnamese, Peruvian, Austrian, Swedish, or German cuisine. Portions are generous – no one has ever left this tour hungry.
Please note: Drinks are not included in the price but can be purchased individually at each stop.

Döner kebab and currywurst are not usually included – but we’re happy to add them on request (please let us know in advance).

Typical stops include the Oberbaumbrücke, Schlesisches Tor, the Landwehr Canal, Lohmühleninsel, Wrangelstraße, and – depending on the time of day – the lively Markthalle IX.

The tour is led by true local experts – guides who live or work in the area or are closely connected to the local food scene. Not a standard route, but an authentic glimpse into the Wrangelkiez.

A public tour with a personal feel – truly Kreuzberg, truly delicious.
